‘A distinctive place where you can really make your mark’ – Anouski, Head of Engagement and Inclusion + Diversity

Anouski, our Head of Engagement and Inclusion + Diversity, talks about our roadmap for increasing diverse representation and the impact of the Inclusion Network, our employee resource group.

Being brilliant means being your best self...

  • Our flexible approach to hybrid working (we call it NewWork) is designed to help everyone find the right balance.

  • We provide inclusion awareness training for everyone, with regular refreshers.

  • Every colleague is encouraged to tell their manager if they need specific adjustments, including assistive tech and ways of working.

  • Everyone has access to our confidential Care Package, with links to mental health first aid, assistance and resources to stay healthy.

  • And we're proud of our Inclusion Network, open to all - who host a range of events. Recent highlights have included panel discussions for International Women's Day and Black History Month, making rangoli decorations for Diwali and joining the Leeds Pride parade with our charity partner, Family Action..

Our values - pull together, do the right thing, aspire to extraordinary and create tomorrow - reflect our inclusive culture. Anyone joining us at NewDay, or already working here, should feel that they can be themselves and thrive. 86% of NewDay colleagues say that this is in our culture today. By pulling together and living our values, we will help people move forward with credit.
